Medium: Metal tin and 4 blister packs with plastic pockets (recycled materials)

Size [cm]: 14.5 x 8 (length x width of the tin)

Intention

This installation represents the vicious circle of plastic in the environment. As humans we are responsible for the littering of earth with plastic. Lot’s of small plastic pieces, like the ones from the blister packs, are not recycled and eventually end up in the ocean or sea. There, they are consumed by aquatic animals. At the end of some of this food chains are humans, who end up eating plastic, having health problems and in need of medicine given to them in blister packs.
